The Liquid Freezer III is ready for immediate use thanks to its pre-installed radiator fans in push configuration. The fan cables are integrated into the jacket of the hoses, so only one cable needs to be connected to the motherboard. With the MX-6 thermal compound included in delivery, you have everything required for a quick and easy installation.

Future-Proof Compatibility

The Liquid Freezer III is multi-compatible with Intel and AMD sockets. Intel will release the new Arrow Lake processors on the LGA1851 socket in the future. ARCTIC customers can rest assured that the new CPUs will not require new coolers. Full compatibility is guaranteed—all Liquid Freezer III models can be used with the new LGA1851 socket without limitations.

Enhanced VRM Cooling

Voltage converters on motherboards often reach maximum temperature when paired with power-hungry CPUs. To address this, the Liquid Freezer III features a revised VRM fan. The 60 mm PWM-controlled fan offers almost silent cooling for the socket area, compensating for insufficient VRM cooling in cases with poor airflow or during overclocking scenarios. This ensures higher sustained loads and longer service life for voltage converters.

Contact Frame for Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851

Intel's Independent Loading Mechanism (ILM) deforms CPUs by pressing them into the socket at two points with over 40 kg of pressure. This can cause long-term issues under high thermal loads. ARCTIC's patent-pending mounting frame minimizes mechanical stress on the CPU and mainboard. It reduces deformation, ensures consistent cooling performance, and is quick and easy to install.

Optimised, In-House Developed Water Pump

The Liquid Freezer III is equipped with a PWM-controlled water pump that has been optimised for both performance and noise reduction. The improved coldplate with an extended fin surface and optimised water pipes enhances performance while ensuring quiet operation.

Complete Control or Simple Control

Two connection cables provide two control options:

• Separate regulation: Using the splitter cable with three separate connections, the pump, VRM fan, and radiator fan can be controlled independently. For instance, the VRM fan speed can be adjusted according to the temperature of the voltage converters via PWM.
• All-in-One control: Similar to the Liquid Freezer II, the entire unit can be controlled via a single connection, with the radiator fans' speed output. The pump, VRM fan, and radiator fans are easily controlled via a single PWM setting.

The VRM fan operates quietly while delivering powerful cooling performance, ensuring optimal functionality even under demanding conditions.

Native AMD Offset Mounting

AMD Ryzen desktop processors feature a multi-die chiplet design, with hotspots slightly offset under the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader). To address this, the AMD mounting solution includes a 5 mm offset, ensuring optimal heat dissipation.

Improved Radiator Design

The 38 mm thick radiator features a fin stack extended by 23%, resulting in improved heat dissipation and a larger liquid volume. This design slows heat build-up in the water cooling system, effectively managing power and temperature peaks over longer periods.

High Static Pressure

ARCTIC's well-proven P fans excel in high-density fin environments, such as heat sinks and radiators. Thanks to their high static pressure, they deliver superior cooling performance compared to fans designed for high air circulation.

Limited Compatibility with Some Motherboards

Certain motherboards are incompatible with the Liquid Freezer III due to oversized SSD coolers in the M.2_1 slot. ARCTIC provides a suitable M.2 cooler free of charge for affected motherboards.

Addressable LEDs for All Requirements

The Liquid Freezer III uses standardised 3-pin cables instead of proprietary connectors, ensuring compatibility with most lighting systems for motherboards, cases, controllers, and accessories. The daisy-chain function allows each LED to display individual colours, offering countless combination options to suit any preference.
